Hindi GECs to add more spice to entertainment beginning December 2013

The year 2013 is about to end and we are on the verge of welcoming the new year 2014. But before the year is all set to end the festive and celebratory month of December is here to lift our spirits. Now with the exciting and entertaining packages Hindi GEC’s are about to offer we can welcome the year end and also ring in the new year on a joyful note.

General entertainment channels have left no stone unturned to ensure that viewers have a diverse programming platter to choose from which includes dance and music reality shows, stand- up comedy, crime thrillers, fictional soaps and Bollywood blockbuster premieres.

Now viewers are eagerly awaiting for channels new properties. Hindi GEC STAR Plus is coming with Ye Hain Mohabbatein that is due for launch on December 3, 2013. Whereas Life OK, bringing a thriller show which is to be aired from November 30, 2013 Ringa Ringa Roses…Khauff Begins, and the upcoming Nikhil Sinha’s new fantasy based show Legend of Hatim which is expected to go live in December.

The channel Colors is now all set to present two fiction properties viz. Rang Rasiya, which is expected to replace Bigg Boss in the last week of December and Farhan Salaruddin’s Beintehaa which too is on the anvil. The fifth season of India’s Got Talent will soon make its presence felt on the channel this December. The promos of all three upcoming shows have been making their appearances on the small screen during the past couple of days.

The channel will soon be offering two new fiction shows Ek Nayi Pehchaan and Main Na Bhoolungi. The former will see the comeback of yesteryears actress Poonam Dhillon and will be based on Women Empowerment. Sony TV will also bring back the all-time favourite dance show Boogie – Woogie to entertain their audiences starting December 7, 2013.

The new offering Doli Armaanon Ki will air from December 2, 2013 onwards. Dance reality shows are a crowd puller and the current favourite with most of the GECs.   Dance India Dance Season 4 on the channel is certainly making waves albeit with a new set of judges.

Given the wide choice we are sure enough that year 2014 is going to kick start with variants of shows served with toppings of drama, thrill, dance and comedy.  Now it is ultimately the viewer’s discretion of what they would prefer to watch or drop although experimentation is always an option!
