Hiren Pandit bids adieu to GroupM

GroupM today announced that Hiren Pandit, Managing Partner has decided to move on from the organisation. Hiren has been associated with GroupM for close to 13 years.  He was a member of GroupM South Asia’s Executive Committee (Exco).

Hiren joined Mindshare Mumbai in June 2000. In 2006 Hiren took over the role of heading GroupM’s Entertainment, Sports and Partnerships practice. In his last assignment Hiren was leading projects for GroupM in the areas of productivity improvement. Apart from the various roles he has essayed, he was closely involved in Aspire, GroupM’s training programme.

Commenting on the development, CVL Srinivas, CEO, GroupM South Asia says “Hiren has had a long and distinguished career with GroupM.  He has contributed immensely to our organization thru’ the various roles he has essayed. As he looks to explore career options outside of our network, we wish him the very best and would like to thank him for his valuable contribution”.

On his decision to move on from GroupM Hiren Pandit said  “Its been a wonderful journey with GroupM. After 31 years in the business I thought it was time to take a break. Training, teaching and sports has always been a passion and something that I enjoy. Hopefully going forward I will be able to contribute in these spheres. Its feels sad leaving a great organization and some great people that I worked with. I wish GroupM and all the folks that I have worked with there, all the very best.”
