How brands reacted to global outage of Social Media Trio

While the Facebook-owned trio of social media platforms Facebook, Instagram & WhatsApp faced global outage yesterday due to some technical failure, Twitter had become the savior in connecting to the globe. All the three platforms announced the service outage via their official accounts on Twitter. The matter of time was to understand how our lives would have been without Internet?

According to the media reports, this global outage had occurred due to an error in Facebook’s domain name system (DNS) records.

“We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience,” posted Facebook.

“We’re aware that some people are experiencing issues with WhatsApp at the moment. We’re working to get things back to normal and will send an update here as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!” WhatsApp posted on its official Twitter account.

“Instagram and friends are having a little bit of a hard time right now, and you may be having issues using them. Bear with us, we’re on it!” the most used application tweeted.

Within few minutes of this technical issue, not only users but brands too went bersek on Twitter with memes and fury about social media services down.
