HP, Gujarat polls counting day: Aaj Tak tops in HSM during key hours

On counting day of the votes for the recently held Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat on December 8, 2022, AajTak ranked No. 1 among Hindi News channels in the Hindi-speaking markets (HSM), as per BARC data (15+ years | HSM | Dec 8, 2022 | Week 49 | 08:00 to 12:00 Hrs | AMA’000s).

AajTak secured the numero uno spot garnering 334.1 AMA (average minute audience).

India TV followed in the second rank with 328.7 AMA, followed by News18 India in the third spot with 305 AMA.

Making up the Top 5 channels were TV9 Bharatvarsh, which was ranked fourth with 258.8 AMA, the channel was followed by ABP News in the fifth position with 226.7 AMA.

Meanwhile, Republic Bharat was placed in the sixth spot with 212.3 AMA; News 24 garnered 167.9 AMA to be ranked seventh. Good News Today, Times Now Navbharat and News Nation were ranked No. 8, No. 9 and No. 10, respectively, garnering 165 AMA, 161.3 AMA and 82.9 AMA, respectively.
