HT Media releases coffee table book "The Magic of Print"

HT Media launched its coffee table book on print advertising titled "The Magic of Print" in Delhi on the 12th of December at ITC Maurya. The hardbound volume features contributions from prominent Indian advertising experts like R Balki, Piyush Pandey and Alyque Padamsee. The book comes complete with a treasure trove of outstanding print advertisements of the last few decades from around the world as well as tips on how to create great print ads.

The content has been put together by Rajan Bhalla, Head Corporate Marketing, HT Media and John Thangaraj, Vice President, Planning at LOWE Lintas.

Commenting on the book Rajiv Verma, CEO, HT Media Ltd, said, “. We have put some of the best work done on print in the form of a coffee table book. I hope a look at this book this evening will give impetus to greater creativity in print advertising and greater effort by all stakeholders to keep this medium alive. As long as we continue to focus on and invest in good content, present it well, and ensure that it is printed well, we are in business.”

Talking about the initiative, Rajan Bhalla, said, “It is clear that print is a great vehicle from the point of view of showcasing brands, creating stopping power and above all, lending credibility to the message. It is time that we all start looking at how to create great print advertising and this is our effort in that direction. I am positive that the media fraternity as well as the creative fraternity will view this as an initiative that will help lift the quality of print advertising in the country.”
