Hybrid Indonesia has launched 3 campaigns for the popular shampoo brand, CLEAR with different technologies: Semantica, Hybrid Places, and VOX. The campaigns aim to expand the brand audience, raise awareness of the brand and get CTR equal (or more) to 1%.

Targeting men and women 18 to 35 years old, in the first campaign, Hybrid used Semantica (keyword) technology, the system analyzed the content of the websites and recognized the keywords on them. Based on this data, the ads were shown only inside the content related to the brand only by those who are interested in the brand theme, were part of the target audience, and visited the sites according to the relevant thematic queries (keywords).

The second campaign, it was Hybrid Places technology which can reach potential customers and users at specific places from the list of Hybrid Places. It shows the users a relevant advertising message based on their location at this moment. During the advertising campaign, when users were in one of the collected coordinates or within a radius of 250 meters to 1.5 km from it and logged into the mobile application, they saw an advertising banner of the brand. The banner contained information about the product and the nearest store at the moment where the user can buy it. To engage users in Clear’s product, personalized creatives were prepared for each week of the advertising campaign.

In-image (VOX) format was applied in the last campaign. In-image ads are placed inside images by the content theme of the page. This allows us to make our advertising recommendatory and avoid "banner blindness". With the help of selected technologies, the ad was placed on sites relevant to interests to attract the attention of the right audience. We placed ads only on thematic sites from the best publishers in Indonesia. The user visited the site and saw the native advertising message exactly at the moment of interest in the topic. This helps to increase users’ loyalty to the brand and ensures a high level of brand safety.

Results

In the end, the 3 advertising campaigns of the brand ”CLEAR shampoo" together have shown high results, CTR of them was all higher than 1%. What’s more, the personalization of creatives and the display of advertising in the appropriate content environment made communication with the audience more user-friendly and relevant. The Brand Lift campaign showed an increase in product awareness among the audience. Using Hybrid Places technology, we could display an advertising banner the moment when users were near the customer's stores. Last but not least, working only with trusted publishers has helped not only to increase brand safety but also to form a high-quality brand image during campaigns. Owing to all these instruments and a wisely-developed strategy, CLEAR shampoo campaigns by Hybrid Indonesia achieved better results than expected.
