I can be lot more than just a Villain, try me' says Vikas Verma

Vikas Verma after his successful television stint playing grey shades makes his Bollywood foray with Yaariyan, yet again playing the negative lead!

Blame his international & suave looks that make this attractive & immaculate Vikas Varma, a hot favorite among the film makers to cast him for negative roles & will be seen soon on the big screen in his Bollywood debut ‘Yaariyan.’

0Vikas surprised by random people walking up to him singing ‘Superman Superman’  never had an idea that an ad commercial would give him so much recognition. He gears up for movie release of Yaariyan playing a pivotal role & is excited about his next release, a Punjabi film where he again plays the main negative lead, he exclaims, “Yaariyan is definitely big. I have absolutely no qualms about playing a Villain in my very first film, in fact this is totally my thing. But besides playing grey characters, I want to play other roles.”

This charismatic lad hailing from Rajasthan has been the title winner of Zoom’s ‘India’s Fashion Star’ & has walked for almost top notch designers in the industry at various fashion weeks.

Vikas talks about him being apt to play negative roles, “Every time I have auditioned, I have been mistaken to be an angrez. Time & Again, I was complimented for my international looks & was told I would do great as a grey shade & come to think of it, I have accepted that & I am glad to being offered that kind of roles.”
Not just good looks but Vikas Varma is a powerhouse of acting talent & has won nomination under the category of Best Male Negative lead at the Indian Telly Awards for his stint in Jhansi Ki Rani, playing 7 different negative roles; Marshall & Hamilton in one serial itself.

Vikas has successfully been the face for various brands like Rupa Hunk, Quickr, Set Wet Deo, & many more, having done a cameo in Saif Ali Khan starrer Agent Vinod.
While Vikas gears up for his upcoming much talked about release Yaariyan, he excitedly claims, “I have been the bad boy on screen, one must see the other side of me too.  On the sets, everyone kept telling me about how awesome my comic timing is, I want to explore that on screen too. Hope that happens soon! Until then I’ll be happy to be the bad boy.”
