I Next strengthens team Sr. Management ; Appoints Ajwindera Sandhu and Sunjit Singh

In a bid to strengthen its ad sales and brand teams, I next, the youthful, bilingual, compact daily from the house of Jagran Prakashan Ltd, has appointed Ajwindera Sandhu and Sunjit Singh to head its national Sales and Brand functions respectively. Both of them would be based out of Jagran's corporate office in New Delhi and they would report in to the Editor and Project Head of I next, Alok Sanwal.

Commenting on this development, Alok Sanwal said "With such diverse and multi-faceted experience on board, I next is surely looking forward to benefit a lot from Ajwindera and Sunjit. The brand is poised to create an impact in the days to come."

Ajwindera Sandhu, who has joined I next as the National Sales Head, comes from a rich and varied media sales background with close to 13 years of experience in the industry. Prior to I next, he was the Key Account Manager for the Delhi region for Dainik Bhaskar, followed by successful stints as Regional Head in The History Channel (now Fox History and Entertainment), Channel [V] and Star World. He has also worked with the Times of India and Outlook as well, in the past.

Sunjit Singh has joined I next as the Brand Head, looking after all brand activities across I next's 12 printing centers and five business offices. Prior to this, he was the Business Development Associate for India with BBC World Service handling content alliances for BBC across media platforms. A post-graduate from MICA, he started his career with Dainik Jagran in 2003 as Assistant Brand Manager and oversaw the newspaper's launch and brand activities across Punjab. Later he also worked with Radio One where he was a part of the core team that launched the Delhi station. He also completed a successful stint with UTV as the Brand Manager on UTV Movies channel before moving on to BBC World Service.

The last few months also saw I next appoint Pankaj Pandey as DGM-Administration to manage its 12 editions. Prior to joining I next, his last assignment was with Divya Bhaskar.
