IBM appoints Deepali Naair as director of digital sales, India

Deepali Naair has joined as the director, digital sales, India and ASEANZK Digital Sales Centre. Her office is based out of Bangalore. Previously, she was the director – marketing for India and South Asia region.

“Digital sales is a key to IBM strategy and with that comes a lot of opportunities to take on new missions and hire new talent. A lot to look forward to. Leaving marketing will not be easy. I absolutely love the marketing team and the partnership we built with the business team. Bangalore Digital Centre will enable key brand missions at IBM including systems – storage, power, cloud and cognitive software, public cloud, TSS digital sales and red hat. The Bangalore Centre will focus on digital sales across India, ASEAN, Korea and Australia.” She posted in linkedin.

Deepali Naair started her career as a senior officer at Tata Motors. From there, she moved to BPL Mobile Communications as a manager and looked after the marketing operations. Then, she held the position of a group head account planning at FCB Ulka Advertising. She was a marketing manager at Marico and a consultant at EMM Group. She moved to HSBC Asset Management India as the vice president and head of marketing. She served as the country head – brand, customer service and e-commerce at L&T General Insurance Company. At Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India, she was the chief marketing officer. She has also been a visiting faculty at SP Jain Institute of Management & Research.
