ID PRESENTS A NEW INVESTIGATIVE SERIES 'DEVIL IN THE DETAILS'

What happens when crimes are left unsolved due to little or no evidence? ID- Investigation Discovery will present an all new investigative series DEVIL IN THE DETAILS which will prove how important small details are while investigating a crime or going through a crime scene. The eye for detail is what ultimately leads the investigators to the culprit.

DEVIL IN THE DETAILS will air every Sunday at 8 PM only on ID.

The true-crime series follows strange and disturbing cases which will leave the viewers stunned. From the remote backwoods of Alaska to the lush island paradise of Kauai, detectives struggle to find enough evidence to help apprehend the real killers and criminals.

Each episode will investigate and reveal the deep secrets hidden behind the cold blooded murders. The series will showcase how the investigating team’s eye for details leads them to unravel clues and turn around a case which had hit a possible dead-end.

In the absence of evidence the investigators mostly rely on the clues found at the crime scene, like when Detectives Elvin Howard and Chris Johnson begin their investigation, the only clue they have is the hair found in the victim's hand. Viewers will get to see how it proves to be the most vital detail to have been found and how it helped solved the murder mystery of a young defense attorney, Chiquita Tate. In another episode, a 18 year old girl was found dead in a farmer’s field, when detectives, despite of having lot of confusing and misleading forensic evidence rely on good old-fashioned police work  to nail the murderer.

When a crime takes place, it is the power of observation of the investigating officers and their eye for detail that proves to be a key in unravelling the truth. To know what goes inside the mind of the investigators and how they hunt for clues, watch the thrilling series DEVIL IN THE DETAILS only on ID.
