Idea and Zapak.com celebrate World Gaming Day

Idea Cellular, the pan-India mobile operator, and Zapak.com, India's well-known gaming company, joined hands to celebrate a unique initiative- "Idea World Gaming Day' on 13th October 2010.

Earlier last month, Idea and Zapak.com had launched a unique initiative called "Idea World Gaming Day' to provide gaming platform to millions of avid gamers. The month long celebrations of "Idea World Gaming Day' witnessed participation from 1.24 million gamers from across the country. "Idea World Gaming Day' encouraged gamers to "Play Fair and Win Big'. Gamers participated through a multi-platform initiative, by gaming on their mobile phones, Consoles, Online games and Offline games.

The core Target Group (TG) for the initiative is 14-24 but the overall expanded TG is around 8-40

"Idea World Gaming Day' was aggressively marketed across various mediums TV, Radio and Online in India. To participate, users had to log on to https://wgd10.zapak.com/ and start gaming. The celebrations of the World Gaming Day have been a big success.
