If you are too busy to eat, you should quit your job: Rujuta Diwekar
Well-known nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar in conversation with Anupriya Acharya, CEO, Publicis Groupe, South Asia, highlighted the following:
- Diabetes, BP need systemic change. Cannot be blamed on the person alone.
- If you are too busy to eat, you should quit your job.
- Staying fit doesn’t require a lot of time. If not 30 mins in a day, 10 min slots through the day can work too
- Active movements through the day along with a fitness regime every day is important
- Sleeping and waking up on time and small nap in the afternoon does help
- But to destress, there needs to be societal change. Like in a home with both working, the men need to contribute more to chores at home.
- Women need to look it for themselves and find time to exercise. Take responsibility of your own health and schedule your day accordingly.
- Don’t wait for too long to start. ‘Kal ho na ho’
- Technology’s contribution to health and wellness has been good or bad and it is completely in our hands to decide how we want it to affect us.
