In poll season, ABP News’ campaign spurs conversation on real issues

As the countdown to Assembly elections in some of India’s key states has started, ABP News’ new ad campaign advises its viewers to encourage conversations around real issues that concern them, instead of focusing on personalities and the speculations about the likely outcome of the elections.

The advertising campaign for ‘Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri?’, ABP News’ special programming bouquet for the forthcoming elections, focusses on both positives and negatives factors which need to be addressed by the candidates cutting across party lines.

The campaign, conceived by 82.5 Communications, has three films directed by renowned Director Pradeep Sarkar of Apacalypso Filmworks.

Speaking about the film, Sumanto Chattopadhyay, Chairman and CCO, 82.5 Communications India, said, “We can make the right decision only when we see both sides of an issue. That’s why this advertising campaign is important and meaningful.”

Mayur Varma, ECD and Creative Head, Mumbai & Kolkata, 82.5 Communications, added here, “Many truths can co-exist. And good governance is all about making every truth a happy one.”

Krishnendu Paul, Head of Office, 82.5 Communications, Mumbai, said, “With this campaign, we wanted citizens to celebrate this truth of dual India and build neutrality codes into brand ABP News using people truths rather than political party truth.”
