India.com elevates Sandeep Amar to CEO

Sandeep Amar has been promoted as Chief Executive Officer at India.com. Prior to this he was Chief Operating Officer at the web portal.

Amar is a digital industry veteran with over two decades of experience in brand development, brand leadership, sales and marketing, product management business growth, market share and strategy execution across sectors like digital, TV, print, banking and finance.

Before joining India.com, Amar was Head of Marketing at Times Internet. He started his journey with Times Group’s internet division as Marketing Head of Times Business Solutions, besides leading the marketing divisions of Simplymarry.com and Ads2book.com. In 2009, he was elevated to Head of Marketing and Audience at Indiatimes.

His had also had stints with Zee Telefilms, Citigroup, and Hindustan Times.
