India is Going To Hit a New High: Rakesh Jhunjhunwala on ET NOW Market Summit 2010

ET NOW, the English business news channel brought together a dream team of Indian Equities, at the Market Summit 2010 on August 6, 2010. The key note was delivered by CLSA Equity Strategist Christopher Wood, also the man who predicted the sub-prime crisis. The event also saw a power packed panel of Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Shankar Sharma, Manish Chokhani of ENAM and Sameer Arora of Helios.

Chris Wood in his keynote speech shared his expert views on U.S markets, which according to him are on a "deleveraging cycle' and feels that " it's a deflationary environment in the West'. His view on India was positive but felt that the biggest risk India faces is "the huge amount of foreign money in the Markets'.

This panel discussion moderated by ET NOW's Executive Editor, Andy Mukherjee saw the panel of market experts share mantras for the market, give sectoral buy, sell and hold tips and share their insights on the Indian as well as Western Equity markets.

The discussion also saw India's biggest Bull and Bear Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and Shankar Sharma share their diverse views on the Indian Equity markets. Where Shankar Sharma felt that "Sensex will not make a new high in a while', Rakesh opined that "India is going to hit a new high, I don't know whether in this calendar year but surely in this financial year'.

These best minds in Indian and Asian markets also answered queries from the elite list of corporate heads who attended the event.
