India News declares 'Ye Virat Ka World Cup Hai'; curates special programming

In India cricket isn’t just a game but it is a true religion which binds everyone. India News, one of India’s leading Hindi news channel by iTV Network will bring to the viewers a descriptive and insightful review of each match from on and off the field during all the world cup matches starting from 30th May till 14th July. India News has curated special programming under the umbrella branding of Ye Virat Ka World Cup Hai”. The cricket show is telecasted every day at 6:30 PM, while there will be one hour special programme during Indian team’s match day at 2:00 PM, during weekends the show will be telecasted at 10:00 PM till 11:00 PM on Saturday and repeat telecast on Sunday from Noon till 1:00 PM.    

The special programming of “Ye Virat Ka World Cup Hai” will cover different aspects of the cricket world cup. During the weekday show, there will be special segments, which will cover the pitch report, player net practice, and analysis of the playing teams.

There will be studio guests from the cricketing fraternity including, Mr Anshuman Gaekwad, Mr Rajkumar Sharma, Mr Nikhil Chopra,                   Mr Reetinder Sodhi and Mr Praveen Kumar. The special guests will discuss the performances of the players and Indian cricket team’s strategy for winning the world cup.

In addition to the studio shows, there will be special outdoor shows with the live audience which will cover spot interviews and vox-pop with fans from the cricket stadium.
