India’s 1st camel milk brand, Aadvik Foods eye monthly increase

India’ first brand in camel milk industry, Aadvik Foods has beaten the dairy giant Amul, by not only introducing the camel milk 3 years ago but also sold 2 lacs litres, since inception. While Amul has been toying with the idea of launching camel milk for quite a while, Aadvik Foods has revolutionized the camel milk market in India already, with its varied range of camel milk products. As an innovator in the Indian camel milk industry, Aadvik foods have launched a bouquet of camel milk-based products including camel milk powder, chocolates, and skincare range.

Aadvik Foods was conceptualized by Hitesh Rathi who identified the growing prominence of camel milk as a superfood across the globe. Launched in 2016 with a single SKU, the brand now deals in 40 SKUs which also include camel milk powder, soaps, chocolates, flavored milk powder, moisturizer, day cream and body butter.

Speaking on the brand’s unique value proposition, Shrey Kumar, Co-Founder, Aadvik Foods, said, “Camel milk and its products have gained traction in India and across the globe due to their multiple health benefits. Camel milk is low-fat and rich in unsaturated fatty acids, essential vitamins and insulin. It is known to be beneficial for those suffering from chronic conditions such as diabetes and autism, improves immunity, and is suitable for individuals with lactose intolerance. With such wide-ranging benefits, we believe that camel milk is the perfect dairy alternative that will be accepted by millions of consumers in the coming years.”

Aadvik Foods started with selling 1 litre of camel milk per month and is currently receiving 5,000 orders and selling 10,000 litres of camel milk on a monthly basis. Since its inception, it has fulfilled over 2 lakh orders globally. On the back of the steadily increasing demand, the brand is now looking to escalate its sales numbers to 25,000-30,000 litres per month within the next 18-24 months.

“Our aim is to disrupt the dairy foods and milk-based products space in the country through a product range that spans across multiple categories. With an early mover’s advantage, we aim to capture a large share of this growing market in India by offering exceptional camel milk-based products to our consumers,” Kumar added.

Creating deep inroads into the Indian market, the brand has distribution channels in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Punjab. It has also exported its camel milk powder to distributors from the US, the Philippines, and Malaysia. Today, products from Aadvik Foods are available from their website and also across all leading e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, eBay, Milkbasket, Shopclues, Snapdeal, Doodhwala, etc. It is a prime seller on Amazon.com and delivers its products globally.
