India takes home 9 Statues at 2018 London International Awards

London International Awards (LIA), one of the most prestigious Global award shows in Advertising, Digital, Technology driven work, Health & Pharma and Branded Entertainment, has announced the winners. The 33rd Annual London International Awards judging convened over a 10-day period. The Juries, drawn from the world’s most recognised talent and presided over by industry leaders, viewed and scored every entry within their medium, ensuring that all the work was judged equally. 

India brought home nine of the coveted LIA statues – 4 Silver, 5 Bronze and attained 2 Finalists. In total 705 LIA statues, in addition to finalists, were awarded from 40 countries. 

“Indian advertising is really moving forward. We saw that in this year’s winners’ tally when they shone in the Digital and The NEW,” said Barbara Levy, President of LIA. 

Cheil Worldwide India, Gurugram sees great success, with a Silver and two Bronze statues awarded to the “The Good Vibes Project”. Two different juries awarded all the metal for the same piece of work: 

  • Silver- Digital - Innovative Use of Digital for Good Vibes App titled “The Good Vibes Project”
  • Bronze- Digital - Apps for Good Vibes App titled “The Good Vibes Project”
  • Bronze- The NEW - Creative Technology for Good Vibes App titled “The Good Vibes Project”

S M Talha Nazim, Senior ECD at INNOCEAN Worldwide, New Delhi, and LIA Non-Traditional Juror, stated, “An award is as good as its jury. What I loved about the non-traditional jury, and LIA in general, was the calibre and the diversity. This helped us understand the cultural nuances and handpick the very bravest of the brave work from across the world.”
