India Today Group to launch series featuring India’s Sporting Legends

Inspiration, a heart-to-heart original series from India Today TV will bring its viewers and their sporting legends closer than ever. The show will help the viewers delve deeper in the lives of these luminaries as they reveal their lesser-known side and struggles they overcame throughout their journey. The premiere would star Indian cricket’s poster boy- Virat Kohli. It would be a riveting experience to witness one of the world’s best batsman’s story through a personal lens in the show.

Boria Majumdar, a renowned name in sports journalism, will be seen hosting the show. Given his unrivalled understanding of sports, it would make it all the more interesting to witness his conversations with the Indian legends.

Be it Abhinav Bindra battling with epilepsy or Mithila Raj fighting stereotypes, Sourav Ganguly’s journey from ‘Dada’ to BCCI Chief or PV Sindhu’s rise to the top, all of these untold stories deserve a fitting platform and India Today TV offers just that. The show will stir the emotions of millions of Indians when icons like Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, P.V. Sindhu, Sourav Ganguly, Ravi Shastri, Sania Mirza, Pullela Gopichand, Viswanathan Anand, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Ravi Shastri and Suresh Raina relive their stories.

The series will have new episodes every Saturday at 6 pm, with repeats on Sunday at 2 pm and 10 pm. The premiere episode is on 30th November.
