Indian Broadcasting Foundation appoints Uday Shankar as President

Uday Shankar has been appointed as the President of the Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) in its 11th AGM held at Hyderabad. Uday Shankar, CEO, Star TV, India succeeds Jawahar Goel.

G Krishnan, CEO of TV Today is the new Vice President and Sunil Lulla, CEO Times Television Network is appointed as the Treasurer of IBF. Mr. Ajay Vidyasagar, COO, Sun TV Network was appointed in the Casual Vacancy post

Goel had held the Chair for four consecutive years. The Board held in high regard over the work done by Mr Goel and also Mr. Rao, the former Vice President and Mr. I. Venkat, the former Treasurer. They voluntarily stepped down from their posts in the 58th Board of Directors meeting, in order to give other members an opportunity to take their places.
