IndiBlogger partners with Stayfree; Orgenizes an all women bloggers meet

IndiBlogger, in association with Stayfree, hosted an all women bloggers meet in the city on Sunday. The meet hosted a gathering of more than 100 women bloggers that got together under one roof to connect for the launch of a new program under the Stayfree Women for Change initiative.
 
The bloggers meet was a part of Stayfree's 'It's time to change' campaign. On women’s day this year, Stayfree had launched the ‘Be the voice of change’ blogging contest on IndiBlogger. Bloggers were asked to share what they would want to change around them. Stayfree has extended its brand idea by launching ‘Stayfree Women for Change’, a cause related marketing initiative under which the brand is supporting Unicef to work for better health & hygiene of adolescent girls in Bihar and Jharkhand.
 
This meet was a step further in this social journey. The brand will introduce a new program under the Stayfree Women for Change initiative through which women can make a difference and bring about a change in the life of women in need. Stayfree is supporting their partner NGO Samhita in this effort.
 
The event comprised of intellectual discussion among the bloggers on women oriented subjects. The event started with ‘Voices Of Change’, wherein the winners of the blogging contest shared the information about their winning entries. Clement from Unicef spoke about the partnership between Stayfree and Unicef. Mr Deepak Pai, Group Product Manager, Stayfree, spoke about the Women For Change cause. There were two dance performances staged by Arts In Motion bringing alive the concept of Women For Change. Noted lyricist and Chairman of McCann Worldgroup, India, Prasoon Joshi unveiled the Women For Change anthem, Mujhe Pankh Dedo at the meet. He also interacted with the bloggers about women issues existing in India.
 
At the event, Neeraj Goyal, General Marketing Manager, Johnson & Johnson India, said, “As a brand, Stayfree believes in welfare of women and recognizes it’s time to change this. The Stayfree Women for Change movement is an endeavor for healthy, hygienic life that Stayfree believes is the right of every girl and woman. The aim of this program is to improve health and hygiene management amongst girls and woman, aiding their social and economic empowerment.”
 
It was a fun – filled event where bloggers mingled over exciting on-the-spot contests, games, high-tea and giveaway goodies. This was the 5th IndiBlogger meet in the city.
 
Talking about the event, IndiBlogger.in said, “We, along with all our bloggers, have pledged to support the Women For Change initiative via our homepage for a month. Mumbai bloggers have always been very enthusiastic with all our activities and this event only makes them a stronger community.”
