Industry leaders share their Goafest 2023 experience

After two remarkable days of thought-provoking Knowledge Seminars and Conclaves featuring industry experts and creative minds, there was a strong air of anticipation of a spectacular Day 3 at Goafest 2023.

Here’s what some industry leaders had to say about being part of GoaFest 2023:

Kunal Lalani, MD, Crayon Advertising, who has been attending Goafest for quite a while now, said, “I am actually also on the managing committee of the AAAI. And for the last 10 years or so, one has seen the transformation of Goafest from being a very sort of native kind of festival to where it has moved today,” he remarked.

Navin Khemka, CEO - South Asia, EssenceMediacom, commented, “I think Goafest is a great place to connect with so many media people, so many agency folks, and so many friends. Otherwise, we really don’t get the time. It’s like an excellent 2-3 days’ break. I wish the weather could be a bit better, though, but I think that’s fine.”

Utsav Chaudhuri, Head of Marketing, YME, Viacom18, said, “It’s an honour to be here as a speaker. During Covid we all have missed each other’s company. It has always been special. We have come here so often and I am absolutely delighted to be here and it’s a great experience.”

Rajiv Jain, VP - Corporate Marketing, DS Group, regarded his experience at GoaFest to be fantastic. “Digital is playing a very important role and it’s a game changer and a couple of sessions at Goafest were on these aspects. Overall it is a fantastic experience.”

Arjun Dhananjayan, Founder, 88GB, shared, “This is my first time at GoaFest. It is a great experience for any professional from this particular industry. The thing that fascinates me is that this is a place where I was able to connect with a lot of people around the country.”

Shrenik Gandhi, Co-Founder, White Rivers Media, noted, “While there were some fascinating panel discussions happening, to add on values to it, the kind of conversations that were happening during the breaks were fascinating and quality conversations.”

“I have come here hoping to learn so many things. There are a lot of discussions on technology and how to overcome the ongoing challenges in the industries,” said Outreach Nepal’s Ujaya Shakya.

Shreyas Sathe, Managing Director and Co-Founder, Hybrid Insea, found the conversations future-facing, as whatever was being discussed would be implemented soon. His only complaint was that Goafest needs to be held a couple of months earlier as he found the weather “a bit too hot”.

This was Hybrid’s Gandharv Sachdeva’s second time at Goafest. He found the sessions much more engaging and the speaker line-up stronger this year.
