Instagram is testing chronological feeds for a limited group of users

Instagram is experimenting with a new feature that allows users to customise what appears in their feeds. Users will be able to arrange posts by newness with this functionality. They'll also be able to select posts from accounts that aren't their favourites.

Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri made the announcement in a Twitter post. It is currently in beta testing and only a few users have access to it.

In the video that accompanied the tweet, he claims that in the future, Instagram will have three different feeds. One of them will be called Home, and it will be similar to the Instagram experience that we have now. The content is shown to a reader based on his interests in this case.
