Instagram Launches Insta Gyaan - A guide created especially for the Indian community

Every day, millions of people, in India and around the world, use Instagram to connect around their passions, share their experiences, and build positive and supportive communities. Real connections are made and communities are forged on Instagram and beyond. In keeping with our ongoing commitment to making Instagram the kindest, most welcoming community, we are proud to announce the launch of Insta Gyaan - a guide created especially for our Indian community.

Insta Gyaan is an illustrated guide for people that aims to educate everyone on how to get the most out of their Instagram experience – covering topics such as tips on how to creatively showcase their passion and connect with their community in a positive and safe way. The guide will also showcase the various tools available, so that they can make informed choices on how they want to experience their journey on Instagram.

The book was illustrated by Kaveri Gopalakrishnan (@kaverigeewhiz), an independent comic maker based in Bangalore. Her comics have been published in various graphic novel anthologies and magazines, in India, Europe and North America. As an artist, she hopes to use the medium of comics to drive important social conversations.
