Instagram Tests New Upload Options in the Desktop Version

Instagram is currently testing a new feed posting option from the desktop version of the app.

According to app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi, the new option would add a "+" icon to the top bar of the desktop version of Instagram which will enable users to upload images or videos directly from their desktop. 

Currently, no direct option is available on the desktop, but the tech company is working on the same.

The option would be limited to feed posts only as of now, no stories or reels upload tools are available but the company will provide users with more Instagram management options in coming times which will also provide more capacity to post polished and edited content created in your dedicated photo and video editing tools.
