Interesting & very different in terms of the screening: DIGIXX 2017 Jury

The DIGIXX Awards 2017 is moving towards its exciting finale on March 10. The first phase of the judging process concluded on February 20 and now the final phase is currently underway. In a bid to set an industry precedent, the entire Jury process has been moved to the online platform. 

DIGIXX Awards is brought by Adgully in association with ad:tech, and will be held during the ad:tech conference at The Leela Ambience in Gurugram on March 9 and 10, 2017. DIGIXX Awards 2017 is powered by Adobe, while C1X, PivotRoots and Kantar TNS have come aboard as partners. 

The online judging process has been widely appreciated by the industry thought leaders who were part of Phase 1 of the Jury process. Adgully caught up with some of the Jury members to gauge their reactions to the entire Jury experience in Phase 1. 

Amit Duggal, Vice President, Omnicom Media Group:
“It was very interesting and very different in terms of the screening as it was completely digital. It was a seamless dashboard, which allowed you to check everything in a single dashboard from the perspective of how do you want to rate the entry. Since it is the first time that you guys are doing this kind of Awards, you have cracked the way. It was very convenient.” 

Tanushree Radhakrishnan, National Head - Strategy & Programmatic at Performics.Resultrix:
“On the positive what I liked was that the way it was set up; it had actual scoring rather than the normal process of rating it as good, average, bad.” 

Kunaal Bhardwaj, Head of Marketing, Dainik Bhaskar Digital:
“It was extremely difficult to decide because all the entries were put together very well and were well thought of. The judging process itself was fairly meticulous and long, but immensely fulfilling to see such great talent in the industry.”

“A wide range of cases, very interesting views of media, could have seen better on creativity, though.”
