Ipsos India boosts leadership team in Public Affairs

Ipsos in India has announced the appointment of Dr. Srikant Patel and Dr. RB Gupta for Ipsos Public Affairs – social research and opinion polling division of Ipsos.

Designated Executive Director, Dr. Patel will be spearheading the Social Research business and will report to Parijat Chakraborty, Country Service Lines Group Leader, Public Affairs, Corporate Reputation and Customer Experience, for Ipsos in India.

Dr. Patel, in his career spanning two decades has worked extensively in the Development Sector with government departments, UN bodies, international bodies, international and Indian Non-government organizations and is credited with managing large scale intervention studies, assessment projects, baseline and end-line studies.

An alumnus of Sambalpur university, Dr. Patel is an M.Phil and PhD in Social Anthropology. He has studied many indigenous people and has spent years with them in their environs, in remote and inaccessible regions quite a few national and international conferences. And has many published papers to his credit in Indian and international journals. Further, Dr. Patel is a member of various institutions like the IUAES Commission on Children, Youth and Childhood, Institute of Social Research and Applied Anthropology (ISRAA) and International Union of Anthropological & Ethnological Sciences (IUAES).
