It’s wedding season on Zee TV!

It’s ‘Wedding Week’ on Zee TV with two of the channel’s daughters getting married across the recently launched fiction shows, Kaleerein and Ishq Subhan Allah. Both the shows have cultivated a huge fan following in a short span of time owing to their fast-paced  storylines and the palpable chemistry between the lead couples waiting to blossom into love. This week, viewers can look forward to some high-octane drama as the two popular primetime shows celebrate an entire week of culturally diverse weddings with elaborate ceremonies and tons of drama. While Kaleerein will see Meera’s (Aditi Sharma) big fat Punjabi wedding while Ishq Subhan Allah will have an exciting build-up towards Zara’s (Eisha Singh) niqaah.

While audiences will witness a week full of Meera and Sumer’s (Paramvir Cheema) larger than life Punjabi wedding celebrations and dance to the beats of the dhol in Kaleerein, Ishq Subhan Allah will see circumstances bringing Zara and Kabeer (Adnan Khan) together by way of a niqaah even though both strongly oppose their own match, not being able to see eye to eye on most fronts. Both the shows will make way for great pomp and splendour as the wedding festivities include beautifully curated mehendi and haldi functions with touches of deep-rooted tradition. A spunky Punjabi, soon-to-be-bride, Meera will be seen donning a shimmering and glamourous avatar for her sangeet and wedding festivities. On the other hand, Zara’s outfits will capture the true essence of her elegant, understated personality. Her intricately embroidered maroon wedding lehenga promises to captivate the viewers’ hearts and imagination!

The entertainment quotient will further go a notch higher when exciting drama unfolds between Meera and Sumeir in the course of this wedding week on Kaleerein. There will be some unexpected twists and turns as Meera unearths a rather volatile secret about Sumeir, something that he had been hiding from her for a while! On the other hand, in Ishq Subhan Allah, Kabeer and Zara’s niqaah will reach a stumbling block when Zara puts forth her point of view about the importance of a woman’s say in matters of a talaaq should a marriage ever fail.
