ixigo Launches a Mega Brand Campaign #CancelBefikar

Travel app ixigo (Le Travenues Technology Limited) has launched a mega-brand campaign targeted towards increasing the brand’s awareness while focusing on its free cancellation product ‘ixigo assured’. The theme of the campaign ‘#CancelBefikar’ rightly captures the underlying idea of encouraging users to let go of their fears surrounding heavy penalties on flight cancellations with ‘ixigo assured’ guaranteeing no questions asked, full refunds on domestic flight bookings. 

The campaign has been crafted using popular Bollywood songs and dialogue references to create a series of quirky targeted billboards with messaging like - Apna refund aayega! , Hum refund de chuke sanam, Kabhi booking, kabhi refund. Conceptualized and designed in-house by the brand marketing team of ixigo, the campaign has been launched on outdoor mediums including high-impact sites in cities across India. The brand has also launched banner and video ads across digital mediums.

With the onset of the pandemic, there was an increase in anxiety and uncertainty among travellers with respect to planning their next trip which is why ixigo launched 'ixigo assured fares' last year guaranteeing full refunds on cancellations of all domestic flight bookings. Through #CancelBefikar campaign, ixigo aims to target anxious travellers everywhere and motivate them to use ixigo assured for a flexible, stress-free booking experience.
