Before Jackky Bhagnani signed Youngistaan, he had gone for a road trip and went to northeast to clear his curiosity of why his films didn’t work. He spoke to a lot of localities and figured out that the people didn’t have a problem with his acting but the choices he made. After he was back he went through a lot of scripts and came across a concept film like Youngistaan.
