Jagran bags Silver at Asian Digital Media Awards'10

WAN-IFRA, the world association of newspapers and news publishers, organized the first Asian Digital Media Awards, with an idea of distinguishing those media companies that have adopted digital media as part of their total product offer to meet the major changes in how people consume news and information today.

Jagran got a silver award for their Classifieds portal Khojle.com in the Best in Online Media Classifieds Website in the Asia Pacific region. Khojle.com has been built by J9 Ventures (digital division of Jagran Prakashan Limited).

Khojle.com is a free-for-consumers horizontal classified platform offering advertising categories like Jobs, Cars, Property, Matrimonial and Mobile Phones. Khojle works on a proposition of "Deal Directly" where buyer can meet the seller directly bypassing the mediators like agents. It supports multilingual adverts and is currently powering the online classifieds for Dainik Jagran, Midday, Snowball.in and Naaptol.com.
