Jagran.com celebrated the 2nd edition of Jagran HiTech Awards
Jagran New Media’s flagship brand, Jagran.com celebrated the second edition of the Jagran HiTech Awards on November 30th, 2020. The main objective of this virtual ceremony and behind the entire effort was to recognize, applaud and honour the players from the Mobile and Mobility industry.
Through its annual awards, Jagran.com intends to bring the best of technology and automobile industry under one roof. In order to do so, a separate microsite was created to vote and also with all the details https://event.jagran.com/events/hitech-awards/, the voting ended on Nov 24 th. Sponsored by FUN88 and co-sponsored by Amazon, Jagran HiTech Awards 2020 Awards had as many as 32 categories -- 13 mobile and 19 automobile sectors. The awards included Best Smartphone of the Year, Best Camera Phone of the Year in the mobile segment and Best Motorcycle of the Year and the Best Car of the Year in the automobile industry.
The winners in each category were chosen on several parameters by the special jury members, which included Konark Tyagi (Consulting Editor for Technology - Jagran New Media), Ramesh Somani (CEO & Chief Editor, Exhibit Group), Siddhartha Sharma (Tech & Auto Expert), Irshad Kalibullah (Editor in Chief, My Smart Price) and Abhishek Telang (Tech Guru). Shashank Srivastava, ED- Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, was named as the Personality of the Year in the automobile industry.

Integrated Digital Campaign of the Year Award went to Redmi Note 9 Pro Series Launch whereas Timex fitness band won the Lifestyle Fitness Band of the Year (Editor’s choice).
