Jio partners with Manchester City

A new regional partnership between Manchester City (Man City) and Jio Platforms ("Jio") has been announced, which will see Jio Platforms become the Club's Official Mobile Communications Network Partner in India. RISE Worldwide, India's most prominent sports, and entertainment company, enabled and supported the partnership.
In addition to exclusive giveaways and in-market activities, Man City and Jio will collaborate on various engaging experiences that fans can access through Jio’s digital ecosystem including JioTV, MyJio, Jio STB, JioEngage, and other apps and platforms.
As part of the new agreement, Man City's OTT platform CITY+ will be integrated into the JioTV platform, giving fans in India other access to exclusive club content, including match highlights, live Manchester City Women's team, and Elite Development Squad fixtures, match-day content, and documentaries created by City Studios. With over 350 million downloads, JioTV is India's leading digital video platform, offering over 900 channels in 16 languages across 12 genres, making it the second biggest OTT platform globally.
Additionally, Jio's associate brands, RISE and Viacom18 will leverage partnerships across their football and sports offerings as part of the new deal.
