JK Tyre Motorsport assigns digital mandate to The Links India

JK Tyre Motorsport, the arm of JK Tyre dedicated to motorsports and racing in India, has signed on The Links India as their digital advertising agency. JK Tyre Motorsport has played a key role in promoting motorsport culture in the country.

The account will be managed by the agency’s Delhi office.

Tim Guillois, CEO, The Links India, commented, “Advertising for something like motorsports not only needs the usual marketing skills, but also a passion for racing and cars. We are lucky to have many such enthusiasts in our team who will put on a great show.”

France-based The Links, a full-services marketing and communications group, began its operations in India last year and handles accounts like Pullman & Novotel, JK Tyre, Logitech, Blaupunkt and many more.

Sanjay Sharma, Head of Corporate Communication & Motorsports, JK Tyre, added here, “Over the past few years, India has slowly but surely shed its tag of being a one-sport nation. The success of Grand Prix here is a testimony to this fact. We have invested a lot in building the adequate infrastructure to promote motorsports in India. It will surely pay off now and we’re confident in the capabilities of The Links India to position us really well on the digital space.”

“I do believe that motorsport is still in the nascent stage in India,” remarked Sandeep Sivasankaran, COO, The Kinks India. “That gives us a lot of scope and opportunity to try out new things and establish our country as a truly ‘racing’ nation on the world map. There can be no better platform than JK Tyre Motorsport for that. We are all buckled up to do some of our best work.”

The Links India is already serving as the digital partner for JK Tyre Corporate and their Delhi office will be handling the digital duties and operations for JK Tyre Motorsport.
