Kaapi Machines launches state-of-the-art Coffee Station in Bangalore

Kaapi Machines, India’s leading coffee equipment supplier for the mercantile industry is known for their B2B coffee consulting, training, equipment solution, and service entity that caters to behemoths like Starbucks, McCafe and ITC Hotels.

Kaapi Machines recently installed India’s first Modbar, an innovative espresso brewing system at Araku Café, which paved the way to establish an entire experiential coffee station at the Cafe. This coffee station along with Modbar installation serves as a well-defined sensory bar with rich coffee-brewing and retail experience where customers can sample manual brews with French Press, V60 pour over, AeroPress, Moka Pot and Chemex. They also have an in-house roastery to serve and home deliver fresh coffee experiences. This 5,000 sq ft space is a perfect curation of India’s first-ever Modbar, exceptional coffee, fine food, an internationally recognised coffee academy, a dedicated manual brewing station and a curated bookstore that strikes a perfect balance between the bustling streets of Bangalore and the lush plantations the coffee comes from.

Talking about the collaboration, Abhinav Mathur, Managing Director & CEO, Kaapi Machines states, “We found the perfect partner in Araku for bringing innovation and new age technology to the market. The Modbar setup became a catalyst for exploring an entire coffee station at the cafe. We aim to proliferate and collaborate more to offer a never seen before coffee brewing concepts and experiences for our patrons across India, kickstarting conversations about coffee brewing, culture, technicalities etc.”

Sherri Johns GEMS of Araku Head Judge and Coffee Mentor expresses, “At Araku, there is a perfect blend of cutting edge technology that speaks of experiences and collaborations. Having worked with Kaapi Machines since my stint with Araku Cafe over the last 3 years, I was certain that they could help us reach our goals. With Modbar being the start of a long lasting brewtiful relationship, filled with the perfect blend of elegance and functionality, we hope to strengthen this connection by diversifying our growth trajectory together.”

Araku’s spokesperson, “Whether you are a casual coffee seeker or a java connoisseur, Bangalore’s tryst with coffee is an age old history. It is a common thread that binds all Bangaloreans. From the way they sip their coffee, to the emergence of several specialty cafes, to the nostalgia of filter coffee, the contagion of a coffee community is spreading in the country. This relationship with coffee and the place in itself played a pivotal role in establishing a place like Araku Cafe. The enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated workforce of Kaapi Machines has helped us in accomplishing our goals by installations, timely deliverables and service support. We sum it up in three phases, first, last and lasting impressions. The Araku Modbar is the first impression, the skill and professionalism of the baristas brewing is the last impression and the lingering taste of the delicious espresso served is a lasting impression.

In the process of establishing and forging new relationships with cafe entrepreneurs, Kaapi Machines anticipates expansion in the market with the mission of addressing the gap of efficient and sophisticated coffee equipment in India that could transform the superior quality of homegrown coffee beans into a perfectly brewed cup of coffee.
