Kamlesh Sutar has been appointed as the editor-in-chief of Lokshakshi Marathi. Kamlesh Sutar is a broadcasting journalist. For more than 20 years, Kamlesh has worked for reputable TV networks in India, including Doordarshan, Times Now, and News X. He announced his appointment on LinkedIn.
He has nearly two decades of experience covering state and national elections in India and in states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, and Karnataka. He also has a strong background in covering socio-political, governance, and agrarian issues. Kamlesh is very knowledgeable about the subtle social and political intricacies of the Maharashtra state in western India, with a particular focus on the state's agriculture problems and caste disputes. It was well received when he reported on the farmer suicides in Maharashtra.
Kamlesh's debut book, "36 Days: A Political Chronicle of Ambition, Deceit, Trust, and Betrayal," which chronicled the dramatic political unrest in the state of Maharashtra in 2019, quickly rose to bestseller status and will soon be turned into a web series.
