Kansai Nerolac's "Earth Matters' now riding on Facebook

In keeping with their tradition to contribute towards sustainable living, Nerolac's "Earth Matters' initiative is now on Facebook, an extraordinary architectural venture that echoes the green vibe. This is an initiative to spread awareness amongst people about sustainability in environment. With this idea now on a public forum, it creates a common platform for Architects & Interior designers for always-on conversation. Such a medium will also help provide a way for them to display their work.

Kansai Nerolac has been a pioneer in creating awareness for Lead-free products in India and introducing Nerolac's Impressions Eco Clean, a low VOC paint, was one such significant step towards this direction. They have always been proactive in trying to create a sustainable living environment. With this being their primary purpose, Nerolac launched "Earth Matter' to further inculcate this theme.

Earth Matters is a thought provoking initiative that helps in raising awareness on issues about the environment and its impact on architectural design. It will give architects and interior designers an opportunity to learn more on methods of sustainable practices. Manifestations of sustainable design require renewable resources, impact the environment minimally, and relate people with the natural environment for their survival and progress.

Sukhpreet Singh, General Manager, Marketing & Sales said, "We at Nerolac have always been concerned about the health and well-being of our consumers. As architects are an important part of our industry, this initiative has been created so to be able to be in constant interaction with them".

Earth Matter emphasizes on the need for change in attitude that architects and engineers need to bring out toward building environmentally responsible buildings. Sustainable architecture is a major issue in the light of the environmental degradation that the world faces today. The social role of people as consumers and decision makers about sustainable architecture has been ignored.
