Kapil Sharma announces two new comedy shows

Kapil Sharma has announced two new comedy shows from his production house, K9 Productions. The comedian took to Twitter on New Year’s eve to make his announcement. No further details are available currently on the new shows. 

Sharma had tweeted: “First news of the year, K9 is producing two comedy shows…hope you will like.” 

Sharma’s rise as one of India’s favourite comedians on television has been noteworthy. Starting out as a participant in Star One’s reality comedy hunt show, ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’, which he went on to win, Sharma has been a mainstay on TV weekends, first with ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ on Colors and then ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony Entertainment Television. 

Ranked 27th on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list in 2015, Sharma will soon be seen on ‘Koffee with Karan’ this year.
