Karan Wahi compares himself to Shahrukh Khan

Debuting on television with an image of a cute 18 year old boy in one of the most popular teenage shows 'Remix', Karan Wahi swept young girls off their feet in his first stint as an actor. After having worked in several ventures on television, films and digital mediums, the actor enjoys major popularity on television as compared to other mediums.

When asked about being considered as a television actor, he says, "I don't have a problem with being called a TV actor, because that’s where I started my journey. Such tags always exist. Shah Rukh Khan is the biggest example he made it into films after a stint on TV, but we don't call him a television actor. Instead he is mentioned as an example of actors who made it big. I think such tags will always be around, but your work gets you the limelight.”
