Kareena Kapoor – A diva fuelling a thousand glam aspirations

‘Bebo Main Bebo’, the catchy number from the movie ‘Kambakkht Ishq’, captures the essence of Kareena Kapoor – glamorous, diva and every inch the Bollywood heroine. One would also remember her chirpy, cheerful Geet from ‘Jab We Met’ and Dr Pia from ‘3 Idiots’, where Kareena held her own amid Aamir Khan, Boman Irani, Omi (Silencer) Vaidya and the boys of Imperial College of Engineering. She is also remembered as Poo from the movie ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’.

Kareena made her debut in 2000 along with another star kid, Abhishek Bachchan’ in the romantic drama, ‘Refugee’. A fresh-faced Kareena won over the audience and she came out of her elder sister, the immensely popular Karishma Kapoor’s shadow. Typical Bollywood masala films have been her forte, but Kareena also tried her hand at the offbeat with ‘Chameli’ and ‘Talaash’. Kareena was last seen in Irrfan Khan’s last movie, ‘Angrezi Medium’, where she played a supporting role. 

Her relationship and break-up with Shahid Kapoor and her married life with Saif Ali Khan, along with her bunch of equally glamorous Bollywood divas, have made Kareena the darling of the paparazzi. Kareena, already mother to the adorable Taimur, is now readying for motherhood for a second time.
