KBC shatters all records with 7.2 & 8 TVR for the 5 Crore Episode!

Sony Entertainment Television and its iconic show Kaun Banega Crorepati has shattered TVRs and has emerged as the monster hit of Television in the country last week. Powered by its' Koi Bhi Insaan Chota Nahi Hota' promise, and the charisma of Amitabh Bachchan, KBC has emerged a clear winner with 7.2 TVR and 8TVR respectively for the iconic episode aired on 1st and 2nd November, where India witnessed and celebrated the success of the 5 crore winner from "Motihari,Bihar Sushil Kumar.

In absolute numbers, KBC reached out to 25 million people on Tuesday and 27 million people on Wednesday, with 18% reach and 43 minutes of average time spent, highest for this season. The stupendous ratings of KBC 2011 this week makes it the highest rated reality show since 2009. Averaging at 6.4 TVR for the week, KBC strengthens Sony at No 2 position with 287 GRPs and No 1 in the DTH space with 49 & channel share in the week 45 of TAM.
