Key managerial changes at Isuzu Motors India

Isuzu Motors India has announced major management changes. Wataru Nakano, general manager of Isuzu Motors' LCV Business Department, succeeds Tsuguo Fukumura as president and managing director of Isuzu Motors India (IMI). Wataru Nakano, who was in charge of the LCV Business Department at Isuzu Motors in Japan, brings to India his extensive worldwide expertise in the fields of foreign sales operations and business strategy spanning more than 30 years. His extensive knowledge will aid Isuzu's expansion in both the home and overseas markets.

Ken Takashima, deputy managing director of Isuzu Motors India, is succeeded by Toru Kishimoto, general manager, Isuzu Oceania, Europe & Americas Dept., Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan (IMI). Toru Kishimoto has worked in worldwide markets for almost three decades. He has extensive expertise in ISUZU product distribution and marketing in Europe, Thailand, and other major growing areas. In his previous capacity as vice president of IMI's sales and marketing unit, he was intimately familiar with the Indian market.

As president of Isuzu Engineering Business Centre India (IEBCI) and Deputy President of Isuzu Motors India, Rajesh Mittal, senior vice president of UD Trucks Corp., Japan, joins the top management team (IMI). Rajesh Mittal has 37 years of technical, management, and operational expertise in the commercial vehicle sector, mostly in international markets. Prior to this appointment, he was the Logistics Manager of UD Trucks Corp. in Japan. He has also played important contributions in the fields of automotive technology and supply chain logistics.

The management changes are in line with the company's business objectives.
