KFC India launches the TV commercial for its new '5-in-1 Longer Meal Box'

The country’s favourite meal box is back, and on your TV screens again! Using tongue-in-cheek humour, the TVC reinforces KFC’s 5-in-1 Meal Box as the most filling of all available meal options and reiterates that it is indeed the smartest choice to make.

Commenting on the launch of the TVC, Lluis Ruiz Ribot, CMO, KFC India said, “The 5-in-1 Meal Box that we launched last year was an instant hit with consumers and has successfully redefined the QSR meal in the country.  Building on its success, we are expanding the range for the 5-in-1 Meal Box with the launch of the KFC Longer Meal Box at a great price of INR 149/ -making it not just the more loaded but also the smarter meal box!

The TVC urges consumers to make an intelligent choice by opting for KFC 5-in-1 meal box instead of settling for anything less.”

In the TVC, two meals – the all-new KFC 5-in-1 Longer Meal Box and a regular QSR meal consisting of only 3 items – are placed on the table in front of a table fan (which can’t seem to decide on the better option). Using humor to communicate the messaging, the deadpan voice-over tells consumers that as they are smarter, they should make the right choice and (obviously) choose the most filling meal option. The TVC ends with the fan blowing off the not-so-loaded meal, and the 5-in-1 Meal Box staying intact as the best available (and most filling) meal option.

The KFC 5-in-1 Meal Box will now be available in a new version – ‘5-in-1 Longer Meal Box’ – that consists of KFC Chicken Longer, Hot & Crispy Chicken, Potato Hash Brown along with a beverage (Pepsi) and a dessert (Choco-Pie) for INR 149*/- only.
