Kotak Prime Provides Free Protective and Hygiene Kits to Police Personnel

To support the Police Personnel who continue to valiantly work as frontline COVID-19 warriors for the safety and well-being of the public at large, Kotak Mahindra Prime Limited (Kotak Prime), a subsidiary of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited, primarily in the business of car and two-wheeler finance, today announced that it is rolling out its ‘Protect the Protector’ Programme. Under the COVID-19 Relief Programme, Kotak Prime is providing protective and hygiene kits to the policemen, for their safety and well-being, across geographies.

Kotak Prime is providing PPE kits, masks, gloves, sanitisers, face shields, sneeze shields/panels and other protective gear/equipment that helps protect frontline policemen as well as other staff operating from police stations. Kotak Prime is also providing police personnel with essential tools & kits for detection of COVID-19 infection.

Vyomesh Kapasi, Managing Director, Kotak Prime said, “Across the country, our police personnel have been tirelessly working for the safety and well-being of the public at large during the lockdown and continue to do so even now. In addition to maintaining law and order, they have been encouraging people to follow social distancing protocols, wearing of masks etc. Their services are also required for testing and manning quarantine facilities. The nature of their job, thus, puts them at high risk of catching the virus. Through our Protect the Protector programme, our effort is to protect thousands of our policemen across the country and support them to fulfil their duties.”
