LinkedIn to shut down its LinkedIn Video stories from September End

LinkedIn has decided to close the option of LinkedIn stories from its site. These LinkedIn stories were introduced last year as a fun and casual way to share quick updates on the site. But now the Brands will have to adjust their Ad Campaigns after the video format is taken down by the tech giant.

LinkedIn is also sending this notification out to Page Admins.
LinkedIn stories want more creative tools to make engaging videos across the platform. Users also want their stories to be their for more than 24 hours. As a result, the app will incorporate these two elements into its next video campaign and will try to provide more video features making it more creative and more engaging.

LinkedIn stories have not worked out that big but still some people would have found it useful, valuable addition, and its removal will cause a re-think of their LinkedIn outreach strategy. The tech giant also currently offers Story ads, which further expands the impact to paid tools, another strategic consideration.

So since LinkedIn, the most engaging application has decided to shut down its video stories operations , Brands will have to look out for a different strategy to highlight their campaigns and increase their reach.
