Litomania launches an app to unite top authors and readers

For the first-time ever, a lit fest will exist beyond the brick and mortar and extend into the realms of the virtual platform. The Litomania app will build bridges between the top Indian authors and readers. The readers will continuously get fresh content from their favourite authors between book launches.

This Avatar of Litomania will exist as a content platform, taking content from authors to readers. For authors it will bring a very large base of readers to their content. This platform promises to help authors maintain salience beyond the book launch and their new book releases. For readers, it will bea single trove of content from the best of Indian authors on a single platform

While Litomania app would be featuring content like, Articles, Interviews, Talks, Short stories, New book announcements, Promotional material for the authors’ forthcoming books – trailers, graphic content, peek previews etc; Phase 2 of the app will see the launch of Webinars, Author interactions, Live streaming of author events. 

Thus the Litomania app will place Indian literature on the map in the world of e-consumption of books and content.

Unique features of the Litomania App

o    The app will be available on the Android and IOS platforms

o   The app will be free for the first six months

o   Upto 50 best-selling Indian authors in fiction and non-fiction space will be featured

o   Post the lit fest, the app-user can view all the Litomania sessions on the app – this way anyone who couldn’t attend the lit fest, will be able to consume content on this platform

o   From January 2015, the app would feature freshly curated, exclusive content from the top authors. This content would be updated on a weekly basis.
