Lodestar Universal wins 25 million dollar J&J account

Johnson and Johnson the Global pharmaceutical company whose global account was with OMD for last nine years has moved its media account to IPG’s Lodestar UM.

The account first went to pitch in May.The  agencies that competed to win this account were  WPP ,MEC, Omnicom, OMD among others. According to sources the Johnson and Johnson account is worth 25 million dollar.

As per the information available Johnson and Johnson called for a pitch in May to conduct a global agency review across the company’s consumer pharmaceutical and medical device businesses and brands. With IPG UM winning the account , globally it will be handled by J3 which is a new division formed  to manage the J&J account but in India the account will be handled by lodestar universal  headed by Nandini Dias.
