“Lonely Planet Magazine India has been voted the best travel magazine in the country. But rather than resting on our laurels, we decided to reward our readers with an even better, all-new Lonely Planet Magazine India” – Tarun Rai, CEO, Worldwide Media

“Lonely Planet Magazine India, the country's favourite travel title, has always tried to be the most inspirational, most useful travel companion – and the new-look magazine is even more so. The magazine is the Indian traveller’s one-stop shop for inspiration for where to go on holiday, what to do there, and how to do it, and with this redesign, we bring you a fresh new look, ready itineraries, stunning visuals and new sections to bring the world alive” – Vardhan Kondvikar, Editor, Lonely Planet Magazine India

Lonely Planet Magazine India has added new segments to heighten the readers’ experience. The ‘Our Planet’ section is an eye-opener, with photo features, cutaways of famous monuments and museums, interviews with great travellers, plus advice, heads-ups on festivals and news on great travel deals – a beautiful cross-section of the world of travel. Also new is ‘Armchair Traveller’, which features movies, TV shows and books that showcase the world, using locations almost as characters to tell a great story. This section also includes reviews of the best mobile and tablet apps that make your travel easier and more interesting.

Over the years, Lonely Planet Magazine India has become a vital part of the Indian travel experience. In order to strengthen the bond, the reader contribution section has been expanded. The magazine hopes to include more real-life stories from Indian travellers, and to showcase more and more photographs from its readers in the popular ‘Postcards’ section, which has always been an integral part of this award-winning magazine.
