Lotame promotes and Mediaocean's Eli Heath as Head of Identity

Lotame, the global technology company that makes customer data smarter, faster, and easier to use, today announced that it has strengthened its executive team, hiring Eli Heath as Head of Identity and elevating three team members to key roles in Security, Privacy, and Marketing. Lotame’s former EVP of Technology, Eric Hastings, has been promoted to the newly created role of Chief Information Officer (CIO). Richard Gibbs, formerly Senior Legal Counsel, has been promoted to Assistant GC, Head of Privacy and Product Counseling. Danielle Smith has been elevated to VP of Marketing from her previous role as Head of Demand Generation & Growth Marketing.

Bringing over 12 years of experience to the role, Heath will evangelize Lotame’s cookieless identity solutions through product strategy, innovation, and partnerships. In his most recent role, he led product and strategy for FTrack, Flashtalking by Mediaocean’s industry-leading, privacy-safe, identity resolution technology. At Lotame, Heath will lead the charge in expanding Panorama ID adoption which in effect will unlock new audiences and decrease CPMs for advertisers, while increasing revenue for publishers to help fund quality content, ensuring a free, open web for consumers.

Over his 30-year technology career, Hastings has delivered products for a wide range of industries, including security, financial, and government businesses. As the new CIO, he will oversee the management of all information systems and processes companywide, including the development, operation, and security of the Lotame Spherical Platform and Services. Previously, as EVP of Technology, Hastings led the development and growth of the engineering and IT functions for Lotame. 

Gibbs, will be leaving his role as Senior Legal Counsel at Lotame to take over as Assistant GC, Head of Privacy and Product Counseling. Gibbs has spent the last six years of his Lotame career building deep experience in Lotame's data and privacy solutions as the legal liaison to the company’s go-to-market teams. In his new role, he plans on tapping into his 20+ years of professional experience as an accomplished engineer and technology attorney to further develop a best-in-class privacy program.

As VP of Marketing, Smith will continue to oversee Lotame’s day-to-day marketing efforts and raise awareness and adoption of its next-gen data solutions among brand marketers and media owners. In her previous role as the Head of Demand Generation & Growth Marketing, Smith played a pivotal role in spearheading the successful go-to-market launch of Spherical – Lotame's next-gen data platform, timed with the company's new brand identity rollout.
