LS Digital Wins the Maharashtra Jal Samman Award

LS Digital, India's new-age independent digital marketing transformation group, earned the “Maharashtra Jal Samman” award on behalf of all Logimates from Dr Rajendra Singh (Water Man of India) and Mayank Gandhi at the Maharashtra Water Summit (MWS) for assisting in water conservation projects in the state.

The goal of the water summit—which is organised by India CSR, a leading media organisation on sustainable development and corporate social responsibility—is to debate water-related problems in the state and to connect with innovative thinkers to find answers.

The premier symposium on water issues faced by the locals in Maharashtra attracted about 300 attendees. In order to make the state a ‘water-positive’ area, prominent leaders from civil society, government, business, science and academia gathered to share their knowledge, practice, vision, and action plan. Dr Ujjwalkumar Chavhan, Joint Commissioner, Income Tax and the founder of ‘Mission 500 crore liter water reservoir’ also graced the summit as the chief guest. Dr Chavhan stressed on the need for a ‘community-based decentralised water management system’ and ‘an impact-based social service’.

Founder and CEO of LS Digital Prasad Shejale stated, “We are fortunate to be a part of the Mission 500 Crore Liters program, which brings prosperity to 57 villages in Chalisgaon Tahsil in Jalgaon district.”

The day-long forum brought together some of the brightest minds in the fields of water, rural development, CSR and sustainability. The summit's subject “Water for All: Call for Solution, Action, and Sustainability” covered a range of important subjects such as community involvement in water security, CSR partnerships for water positive agenda, and corporate-led water sustainability strategy.
